After updating several features on the new shopping platform, Young Living has identified a few last items that need to be resolved before transitioning everyone to the new platform. Check out this delicious cookie recipe from the Young Living blog!
Oil-Infused All-Heart Cookies
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups organic evaporated cane juice crystals
- 3 eggs
- 1-3 drops Vitality oil of choice (Orange, Lime, Ginger, Cinnamon Bark, etc.)
- 3 cups sifted Einkorn Flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon milk of your choice
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 heart-shaped cookie cutter
Cream the butter and cane juice crystals together until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs and essential oil. Beat well. Sift together the Einkorn Flour and baking powder. Add to the creamed mixture. Add the milk and vanilla. Mix well. Cover and chill for 1–2 hours. Grease baking sheet and preheat oven to 400º Fahrenheit. Roll dough 1/4-inch thick and cut with heart-shaped cookie cutter dipped in flour. Place on greased baking sheet and bake for 6–8 minutes. Enjoy!

Happy December!
Well, we all made it to the end of 2020! Who would have thought this year would be so upside down and crazy! I hope you have all learned that you can do hard things, that you can sift through information and follow your gut as to what is right, and most of all that you are resilient and can find your footing when you are thrown off balance, stare life in the eyes and move forward!
I also hope you have learned that fear is the paralyzer of all things good. Fear is there to warn us, but it is not to be embraced and held. In 1 John 4: 18 it says, "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment." So, as in all things, love is the answer. Love of God and His Son, love of others, love of self. Sometimes love has to be tough, sometimes it is tender, sometimes in brings us to our knees, but love is the answer. At this season of the year, we remember that God so loved us that he gave his only begotten Son. We celebrate the birth of a baby that literally saved the world and everyone ever to have lived in it. I pray that this season is one of joy. For those who feel loss at this time of year, know that the Savior felt your sorrow and grief and can hold you in His hands through his love. Blessings to you all.

Ahhhh… it’s officially Autumn and that means bring on the fall baking! The kitchen is a wonderful place to be using your oils… add them to dinner recipes, add them to hot teas and ciders, add them to baked goods! Grab your non-GMO certified Vitality oils and get creative. Here’s a conversion sheet and a fun recipe to help you get started.
Healthy Halloween Cider
- 2 quarts fresh apple cider
- 1 orange, unpeeled and cut into slices
- 3 drops Lemon Vitality
- 1 drop Cinnamon Bark Vitality
- 1 drop Clove Vitality
- 1 drop Nutmeg Vitality
- Cinnamon sticks, for serving
DIRECTIONS
- Combine apple cider, orange slices, and essential oils in a large pot and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes or more.
- Discard orange slices.
- Serve warm. Add 1–2 cinnamon sticks to individual cups when serving.
